Joe Giucastro

Joe started DJing in 1983 before house music. He was credited by the Harford Courant in 1995 as being the DJ that introduced both house and techno to Connecticut.  Joe was a regular at historic clubs (ie dj learning centers) Paradise garage, Better days and Sound Factory.

Joe was the owner of Harford Connecticut's first house nightclub Riot in 1993 credited as being first after hours in the area.  He then ran successful club nights Riot New York and Riot Atlanta.  Joe wrote the dance column for SIN magazine 1992 thru 1995.

Joe then DJ'd the WKSS (Kiss) Housemix radio mixshow from 1992 thru 1995. He has been a Billboard club dj since 1991.  Joe has appeared in places as far ranging and diverse as Montreal, Benidorm Spain, Oslo, Norway, St Louis, Boston.

His discography includes 2 gold records and top remixes for Deep Forest, Sagat, Ratpack, J Soundtools and production credits on a slew of charted dance singles.

Other credits include National director dance promotion NMC records in Atlanta 1996-1997, executive producer NMC Groove dance compilation.

Currently spinning local venues in the Connecticut region.

 


Robert LaFrance

As a 12 year veteran club DJ from New Haven, CT, Rob has rocked some of the largest and most prestigious dance floors in the state including Toad's Place and Alchemy Night Club. Consistently navigating all musical styles for crowds of 1,000 plus each week, his rock solid style is energetic, personable and entertaining.

When not in the DJ booth, Rob can be found basking in the amber glow of a computer monitor producing dance music with partner Joe Giucastro under the name Rejexx, remixing, or writing about the music and Club DJing for DJ Times magazine.

As a recognized industry expert, Rob hosted club DJing panels at the 2004 and 2005 DJ Times Expo and was featured in the March 2005 issue of Club Systems International magazine.
